Binding Agreement

Your use of the Poker Refuge Torquay website, or your presence at our offline poker venue, constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the website or enter the venue. These terms apply to all visitors, poker players, and guests. We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Changes to Terms

Poker Refuge Torquay reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. It is your responsibility to review the terms periodically. Material changes may be communicated via the website or email.

Reservation Process

Reservations for poker tables, private poker, or the card lounge can be made via the poker enquiry form on our website or by phone.

• All reservations are subject to availability.
• We may require a deposit or pre-authorisation for private poker bookings.
• Reservations are not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from Poker Refuge Torquay.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for poker table reservations and 48 hours for private poker bookings.

• Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.
• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 business days.

Restaurant Reservations

Restaurant dining at Poker Refuge Torquay is secondary to our poker offering, and reservations are subject to separate availability. Restaurant reservations can be made via the restaurant enquiry link or by phone. The same cancellation policy applies unless otherwise stated. We prioritise poker players for table availability during poker nights.

Poker Room and Card Lounge Rules

The poker room and card lounge are dedicated to physical, face-to-face poker. All play must be conducted in accordance with our house rules.

• No electronic devices at the poker tables during play.
• No outside food or beverages in the poker room.
• Smoking is prohibited indoors; designated outdoor areas are available.
• We reserve the right to inspect bags and personal items upon entry.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises:

• Any form of cheating, collusion, or unfair play.
• Use of recording devices without prior written consent.
• Bringing weapons, illegal substances, or hazardous materials.
• Harassment, discrimination, or threatening behaviour.

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Poker Refuge Torquay and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent. The Poker Refuge Torquay name and logo are trademarks of the venue. Disclaimer of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Poker Refuge Torquay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or attendance at the venue.

• We are not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.
• We are not liable for injuries resulting from your own negligence or failure to follow venue rules.
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for the specific service.

Australian Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. You agree to resolve any disputes through good-faith negotiation before legal action.
